WORLD’S WILDEST GOLF COURSE WHERE PLAYERS SIGN A WAIVER BEFORE TEEING OFF FOR A ROUND IN THE COMPANY OF AFRICA’S ‘BIG FIVE’
Pic from Jean Rossouw/ Magnus News. Pic shows a lion possibly checking for directions on the 5th hole on the wildlife on the world’s wildest and most dangerous golf course situated without fences inside the Kruger Natioanl Park, South Africa. The course is open to the public and it’s the only place you can play a round and shout ROAR instead of four in the company of Africa’s ‘Big Five’. The legendary safari must-sees, lion, leopard, rhino, elephant and buffalo, all frequent the fairways of the incredible Skukuza Golf Club, in South Africa. That’s because the nine-hole 18-tee course resides inside the famous Kruger National Park and there’s no fences holding back the wildlife. Skukuza is open to the public and all players must sign a waiver before they tee-off. Luckily the amazing and deadly African wildlife, including also hippos, rare wild dogs and hyena, are more interested in one another than golfers, although warthogs and baboons are known to steal balls. Herds of antelope and the hooves, paws and claws of the animal visitors to the course provide a unique challenge for hard-working greenkeeper Jean Roussow. Jean, 29, was born and bred in the park and has been passionate about golf since first picking up at club aged five. //MAGNUSNEWSAGENCY_0936.4747/2005261655/Credit:Jean Rossouw/ Magnus News/SIPA/2005261656
